On Sunday, October 8th, Bee and I were blessed to worship with Stavanger Lutheran Church, a rural Fergus Falls independent Lutheran congregation served by CLB pastors. This congregation is a ‘sending’ church in one very unique and powerful way. They have had an intentional ministry of providing pastoral experience to Lutheran Brethren Seminary students for many years. The congregation, knowing very well that these intern pastors will likely only be with them for one or two years, embraces these students and this mission. Stavanger Lutheran has ‘sent’ a great many servant pastors of the Gospel into the harvest field! Thank you for your kingdom vision and example, Stavanger Lutheran!
