Missionary Ethan Christofferson and I got to spend a short retreat together in mid-April at one of our old seminary stomping grounds, Maplewood State Park. It was a rich time of stories, laughter, prayer, and ministry and personal dialogue. Ethan has been my good friend and brother since college days in Montana, 3 years of seminary together, and many many a cup of coffee and conversation over 3 decades. Ethan is simply one of the most sincere and godly men I know; someone who calls to my memory this high affirmation, “Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile”. I am a better man and leader from my friendship with Ethan.
