Chris Priestaf, Mount Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church, Mount Bethel, PA
Pastor Chris Priestaf was born and raised in Dearborn, MI, the infamous hometown of Henry Ford. A runner through high school, Chris took his academics and athletics to Bucknell University (Lewisburg, PA) where he majored in Math and Economics and ran Cross Country and Track. Little did he know that Bucknell was also the place where he would meet his future bride, Suzanne, herself a product of 59th Street LB Church in Brooklyn, NY. After five years of marriage in Brooklyn, where Chris taught high school math and coached the track and cross country teams, they moved to the outskirts of Boston where Chris began his Master of Divinity degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Completing that degree in 2004, they took his passion for teaching from the classroom to the pulpit where he continues to serve as Senior Pastor of Mt. Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church in Mt. Bethel, PA. Chris and Suzy have been married 20 years and have three amazing and beautiful girls: Kelsey, Liliana, and Addison. Chris’ greatest joy is seeing people come to know the great freedom and security that is theirs in Christ.
